Beautiful but for an unexperienced driver can be dangerous.
Unfortunately no snow for us in Bucuresti. we will meet some beautiful landscapes with snow at the end of next week. ;)
For shure i can not do that with  Legacy ;D

Yes, Parnitha is dangerous with snow because the roads are narrow.
Nobody esle from the club drive fast there.
We have another place for playing on snow with safety.
You will see later a video from last night. ;D

Hello Stolis,

Man, let me tell you that you're the best subaru forester that I've seen....and the way you have saved the car is great (of course that you were also lucky, but what I apreciate most is the fact you stayed cool )
I have a question for you: I have an automatic USDM forester XT from 2006 and I want to ask you, because i know that you test manual and automatic foresters....on winter, there is big diference in how each car is moving ? Because frankly, I'm sure that this is true because I'm feeling that the electronics of my transmission is not so smart and quick in order to split the torque between front and rear of the car.
Anyway, if you can share me some informations and tips for an automatic XT, based on your experience, i will apreciate.
Btw, do you have any ideea about a forester XT from 2001, registered in greece, and who claim to have been modified in order to reach 350 whp http://www.agvis.ro/Subaru-Forester-de-vanzare-Brasov-benzina-cutie-manuala-93927
There is a guy who is selling this car in Romania, with 5600 eur, and i'm a little bit ;) interested on this
Take care and keep in touch

Regs,
Cristi

Hello my friend and thank you very much.
I think auto XT is a very good and safety car with good off-road skills.
The big different with manual, is that with auto you can have the same control and fun.
It is more difficult to do Scandinavian flick and the 4 gears are long.
Otherwise, you have better control to start the car on icy snow.
These are my opinions.

The forester from Greece what turbo has for that power???

Hi man,

I didn't have time to go to see that car, but in the next period, i will establish a meeting with this guy. It seems that the car is runing with autronic ECU and a lot of stuff have been modified on that car (at 1bar=260cp, at 1.5 bar=350cp on a EJ 20 engine). I'm a little bit worried about the reliability of that car (170 000 km mileage) but the guy is open to have tech check, tests, etc. When i will have more info, I will came back to you.
Anyway thanks for info on automatic
Take care and have fun.

Cristi

I think it has many km. The best, is to find a stock XT. There are many with good prices.
Good luck.
